Pakistan Day Greetings Appear in IIOJK Amidst Calls for Freedom


Srinagar, In anticipation of Pakistan Day, posters carrying messages of solidarity and greetings have appeared in various parts of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), including Srinagar and Doda.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the posters, put up by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and other Hurriyat organizations, feature patriotic slogans such as ‘We are Pakistani, Pakistan is ours’, ‘Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan’, ‘Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan’ and ‘Go India Go Back’. Adorned with the Pakistan flag, these posters also display images of prominent Pakistani figures including Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan, and the current Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.



The messaging underscores the Kashmiri people’s aspiration for freedom from Indian rule and their unwavering determination to achieve the right to self-determination. The posters highlight the militarization of Kashmir by India, underscoring the local populace’s desire to escape Indian dominion.



Additionally, these greetings and messages of solidarity have been disseminated on social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, extending felicitations to the people of Pakistan on their national day and reinforcing the bond between Pakistan and Kashmir.
