Pakistan Calls for Global Action Against Islamophobia and Hate Speech

New York: Pakistan has urged for heightened global efforts to combat Islamophobia and hate speech, emphasizing the need for international cooperation on this pressing issue.

According to Radio Pakistan, the call was voiced by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during a high-level event commemorating the Fifth International Day for Countering Hate Speech. The Ambassador highlighted Islamophobia as a significant form of hate speech affecting societies worldwide.
