Pakistan and UK Pledge to Deepen Bilateral Relations


LONDON: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and maintaining close collaboration on regional and international issues, officials said following a meeting in London.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions took place between Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Tipu Usman, and the British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Stephen Doughty. This high-level engagement underscores the sustained efforts by both nations to strengthen their diplomatic ties.



During the meeting, both parties reviewed the progress made in their bilateral relations and shared perspectives on the changing dynamics of the region. Usman emphasized the significance of ongoing strategic engagement to further mutual interests between the two countries.



In a social media message on platform X, Doughty highlighted ongoing efforts by both nations to bolster trade and investment, enhance security cooperation, and address common challenges, including migration.
