Murree: Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has reaffirmed his dedication to addressing the needs and grievances of the people in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). In a meeting with the PML-N Parliamentary Party of AJK in Murree, Sharif emphasized the party’s commitment to improving conditions and promoting development in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sharif attributed the current challenges in Azad Kashmir to the shortcomings of previous administrations, which he claimed had not fulfilled the expectations of the citizens. He underscored the need to prioritize development in AJK, drawing parallels to the progress made in Punjab under his party’s leadership. Sharif also called upon Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allocate funds to facilitate development initiatives in the region.

During the meeting, Sharif highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to achieve economic self-reliance for Pakistan. The gathering was attended by key figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, signaling a united front in addressing the issues faced by AJK.
