Karachi, At the 61st Parents’ Day ceremony at Cadet College Petaro, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, emphasized the importance of character building in addition to academic education for cadets. Addressing the ceremony as the Chief Guest, Admiral Ashraf highlighted the critical role of educational institutions in shaping the future of the country.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Naval Chief lauded the quality of infrastructure, facilities, faculty, and the overall learning environment at Cadet College Petaro. He underscored the belief that education is pivotal for the country’s prosperity and progress, praising the efforts made by the college in this regard.
Admiral Ashraf also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Government of Sindh, Commander Karachi, the college administration, and faculty in enhancing the educational standards at the college. This cooperation, he noted, is vital for augmenting the quality of education and thereby contributing to the nation’s development.
The ceremony also featured an address by the Principal of Cadet College Petaro, Commodore (Retd) Mushtaq Ahmed, who joined in celebrating the achievements and progress of the college and its cadets.
