Muslim Mutton Shop Owner Fatally Shot in Daylight Attack in Bihar


Patna, In a shocking incident, a Muslim mutton shop owner was killed by unidentified assailants while heading to his shop in Bihar, India.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, Afroz Khatri, was operating a mutton shop in the Rambagh Chowk area of Muzaffarpur. He was shot twice by bike-borne assailants, leading to his immediate death at the scene. The exact motive for the murder is currently unknown, and no suspects have been apprehended. A video capturing the incident, which shows two men on a bike shooting Afroz Khatri, has widely circulated online and sparked outrage.



The incident has provoked a strong reaction from the local community. Residents, appalled by the murder, staged protests, placing Khatri’s body in the center of the road as a sign of their grievance and demand for justice.



Alam, a relative of the victim, spoke to the media about the circumstances of the attack. He recounted that Afroz Khatri was on his way to the mutton shop from his home when he was cornered and shot by the two attackers.



The brazen nature of the attack in broad daylight and its occurrence in a public place have heightened concerns about safety and law enforcement in the area.
