Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Special Assistant to Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has voiced grave concern over the actions of Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), describing them as a reign of terror against innocent Muslims.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Mullick, in her conversation with a private news channel, emphasized the need for international powers and United Nations agencies to actively respond to the escalating situation in Palestine and Kashmir, rather than remaining silent observers. She called for an urgent global voice to halt the atrocities being committed against the Kashmiri people.
Mullick criticized the Modi-led BJP government’s policies as undemocratic, unconstitutional, and cruel, asserting that dialogue is the sole path to a just and lasting resolution of the Kashmir dispute. She urged world powers to exert their influence to end Israeli and Indian aggression.
Responding to a question, Mullick highlighted the resilience of the people of IIOJK, who have consistently opposed Indian dominance. She noted that Kashmiris are bravely facing violence and sacrificing their lives for their right to self-determination. Through peaceful means, including protests, they seek the attention of the international community to resolve this long-standing dispute. The people of IIOJK are committed to continuing their resistance movement until it reaches its logical conclusion.
Mullick’s statements reflect the ongoing tensions in Kashmir and the growing calls for international intervention to address human rights concerns and support the Kashmiri people’s aspirations for self-determination.
