ISLAMABAD: In an effort to ensure safety during Muharram-ul-Haram, senior officials from the Islamabad Capital Police conducted a thorough review of security measures at several Imambargahs in the federal capital. The visits were part of a strategic initiative to strengthen law and order during the religious observance.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza assessed the current security protocols and engaged in discussions with Imambargah administrators. The dialogues focused on ensuring robust security arrangements, smooth conduct of processions, and promoting cooperation between law enforcement and religious organizers.
The officials directed officers to enhance security measures, maintain vigilant coordination with Imambargah organizers, and prepare for any potential emergencies. They reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to utilize all resources to protect citizens and maintain peace throughout the period of Muharram-ul-Haram.
