ISLAMABAD: In an effort to address public grievances and improve community relations, Islamabad police officials have launched open courts, providing a platform for citizens to voice their concerns.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, recently conducted open courts at their offices. During these sessions, immediate directives were issued to resolve the grievances raised by the public.
The police officials highlighted that citizens have the option to register complaints through the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” and noted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has instructed senior officers to organize such forums throughout the district.
In compliance with these instructions, Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are actively holding open courts in their zones, ensuring that public concerns are heard and addressed. The police underscored their commitment to engaging with the community and prioritizing the resolution of public grievances, encouraging all citizens of Islamabad to participate in these forums.
