Islamabad Police Reinforces Strategy to Combat Crime and Ensure Public Safety


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety, following a strategic meeting chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza. The meeting focused on evaluating police performance and discussing enhanced crime prevention tactics.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs, who individually reviewed their performance. SSP Operations Islamabad directed officers to intensify efforts against criminal activities, with a particular focus on gangs involved in car and motorcycle theft. He emphasized the importance of using all available resources to uphold law and order in the federal capital and safeguard citizens’ security.



Additionally, the meeting addressed security preparations for Muharram-ul-Haram. SSP Operations urged officers to strengthen collaboration with Imambargahs, religious scholars, and traders to ensure a peaceful environment during the period. He highlighted the significance of mutual cooperation in maintaining public safety.



The Islamabad Police reaffirmed that protecting citizens’ lives and property continues to be its top priority. SSP Operations stated the police’s unwavering dedication to eradicating crime and sustaining peace in the federal capital.
