Islamabad: Youm-e-Ashur, marking the tenth day of Muharram-ul-Haram, is being observed throughout the country today. The day is dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah ho Ta’ala Anho and his companions in Karbala. Mourning processions are being conducted in various cities and towns as part of the observance.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ulema and Zakireen are set to discuss the teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain and explore the various aspects of the Karbala tragedy. Processions featuring Alam, Taazia, and Zuljanah are being organized to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala and to underscore their sacrifice for Islam.
Authorities have implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of participants and prevent any incidents during the Muharram-ul-Haram observances.
