ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, under the directive of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has executed extensive search and combing operations in the federal capital, resulting in the verification of over 234 individuals. The operations aim to suppress crime and target criminal elements across the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations took place under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with zonal SPs overseeing the activities. The efforts included the examination of 126 households, 23 shops, two hotels, 177 motorcycles, and 46 vehicles. Five individuals and 17 motorcycles deemed suspicious were taken to the police station for further investigation.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these initiatives are designed to enhance security throughout the city and apply pressure on criminal activities. The police have been conducting these operations across various district areas, maintaining a firm stance against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug-related activities.
