Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has committed to providing comprehensive facilities and security measures to support Chinese citizens and their business ventures in Pakistan. This assurance was given during a meeting with a delegation of the Chinese business community, led by Consul General Zhao Shiren, in Lahore.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting centered on the safety and facilitation of Chinese nationals in Pakistan, reflecting the government’s high priority on these matters. Minister Naqvi detailed the implementation of standard operating procedures specifically designed to safeguard Chinese individuals involved in various projects across the country.
The Minister further announced that starting August 14, Chinese citizens would be able to apply for Pakistani visas online, a move aimed at simplifying the process for business-related travel. He also acknowledged the contributions and suggestions from the Chinese business representatives, promising swift action to address their concerns.
Consul General Zhao Shiren highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and China, underscoring the mutual benefits of their enduring partnership.
