US Business Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities in Pakistan


Karachi: A high-level business delegation from the United States has shown significant interest in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in Karachi. The delegation’s two-day visit, supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), underscores a growing interest in the region’s potential.



According to Radio Pakistan, the US delegation praised the improved business climate in Pakistan, acknowledging SIFC’s crucial role in fostering investor confidence and facilitating business operations. During their visit, the delegation met with provincial ministers of Sindh and examined potential investment avenues in the Bin Qasim Industrial Park, Karachi Industrial Park, and other significant projects.



The delegation was also briefed on several strategic initiatives, including the Sindh Business One-Stop Shop, Keti Bandar Port, NED Science and Technology Park, and the proposed Sindh International Financial Center. In discussions with the Pakistan Business Council, the US representatives explored opportunities across various sectors such as capital markets, agriculture, textile, energy, minerals, and health.
