SIFC Initiatives Boost Foreign Investor Profits in Pakistan

Islamabad: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has successfully boosted profits for foreign investors in Pakistan, with a notable increase in repatriated earnings over the past fiscal year. The efforts by the SIFC have facilitated a more favorable investment climate, leading to significant financial gains for international stakeholders.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, foreign investors repatriated $2.2 billion in the last fiscal year, a substantial increase attributed to the SIFC’s strategic policies, including the relaxation of capital controls. These measures have enhanced the ease of doing business in Pakistan, allowing for more efficient capital flows and increased profitability for foreign investments.
