Tehran: The Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran organized the First Pakistan Mango Festival at Palladium Mall, highlighting Pakistan’s mangoes and the longstanding camaraderie between Pakistan and Iran.
According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui underscored Pakistan’s status as a leading mango producer and exporter, with over 250 varieties known for their sweetness, aroma, and quality. The Ambassador stated that the festival aimed to introduce Pakistani mangoes to the Iranian market and to foster trade, cultural exchanges, and connections between the two nations.
The festival drew many visitors, with families and children sampling various mango varieties and enjoying the mango-themed displays. The event was well-received, with attendees praising the taste and quality of the mangoes.
Ambassador Siddiqui expressed gratitude to Palladium Mall’s management and the Embassy team for their roles in the event’s success and expressed hope that such events would enhance the friendship between Pakistan and Iran.
