Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, paid tribute to retiring Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Iqbal Ahmed for his service to the police department and recognized officers for their exemplary performance.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Chaudhry met with DSP Ahmed to commend his long tenure marked by professionalism and dedication. The IGP expressed gratitude for Ahmed’s contributions to the department and wished him well for his retirement.
In a ceremony aimed at promoting excellence, IGP Chaudhry awarded appreciation certificates to officers and officials from different divisions within the Islamabad Police. The initiative underscores the department’s commitment to acknowledging the hard work and public service efforts of its personnel.
IGP Chaudhry emphasized the importance of diligence and devotion in police duties, urging officers to prioritize public service and citizens’ facilitation. He affirmed that the department’s efforts to encourage outstanding performance would continue.
A farewell ceremony for DSP Ahmed took place at the office of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, who also acknowledged Ahmed’s service and presented him with gifts, extending wishes for his post-retirement life.
The Islamabad Police reiterated its dedication to the well-being of its officers and its appreciation for their significant contributions throughout their careers.
