IGP Islamabad Awards Certificates for Excellence and Directs Service Improvements


Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry recognized the outstanding performance of police officers and officials by awarding them appreciation certificates at the Central Police Office. He commended their dedication and urged them to maintain their commitment to diligent and responsible service.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP visited Margalla Police Station to review security measures, policing protocols, and facilities available to the public. He received a briefing on the ongoing initiatives under the SIPS protocols and interacted with both officers and citizens to address concerns. The IGP emphasized the need for timely resolution of complaints and improved service delivery.



At the F-6 Police Facilitation Centre, the IGP assessed the standards of service and administrative arrangements while gathering feedback from citizens on the available facilities. He instructed officers to prioritize transparent, efficient, and quality service delivery, ensuring public facilitation remains a key focus.



The IGP highlighted that acknowledging exceptional performance fosters professionalism and enhances departmental efficiency, reaffirming the Islamabad Police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens and providing accessible, quality police services.
