IG Punjab Congratulates Traffic Police Officer for PhD Achievement

LAHORE, Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with and congratulated Lahore Traffic Police Warden Dr. Majid Ali, who recently completed his PhD in Urdu Literature from Garrison University, Lahore. The meeting took place at the Central Police Office, where Dr. Ali presented his thesis to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.

According to Punjab Police, Dr. Majid Ali’s thesis offers an artistic and intellectual review of literature created by the Pakistani police and explores the historical role of police in the evolution of civilization. His work is notable for being the first PhD focusing on the Role of Pakistan Police in the promotion of Urdu language and literature.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar lauded Dr. Majid Ali for his exceptional academic services, recognizing him as a valuable asset to the Punjab Police. He emphasized the importance of encouraging competent and dutiful officers like Dr. Ali and highlighted the achievement of obtaining a PhD degree while in service. Dr. Anwar also mentioned the revolutionary measures taken for the higher education of children of police employees.
