ICCPO Calls for National Unity and Progress on Pakistan DayRussian Embassy in Islamabad Hosts Photo Exhibition Celebrating Novodevichy Monastery

Islamabad, On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has extended a heartfelt message to the citizens of Islamabad, calling for unity, hard work, and dedication towards making Pakistan a prosperous and progressive nation.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Dr. Khan reminisced about the significance of March 23, 1940, the day the Pakistan Resolution was passed, urging citizens to remember the sacrifices made for the country’s independence and the collective dream of a flourishing Pakistan. He committed to utilizing every resource and legal framework at the disposal of the Islamabad Capital Police to contribute towards the nation’s development, in line with the visions of Pakistan’s founders.

The ICCPO expressed his anticipation for the public’s cooperation and trust in the police force’s endeavors to fulfill this noble mission. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts, characterized by hard work, dedication, and good intentions, to achieve the shared goal of a better Pakistan for all.

Islamabad, In a cultural homage to one of Russia’s principal Christian holy sites, the Russian Embassy School in Pakistan organized a photo exhibition titled “The Architectural Ensemble of the Novodevichy Monastery.” The event was dedicated to commemorating the 500th anniversary of the founding of the Novodevichy Monastery.



According to Embassy of The Russian Federation, the exhibition provided embassy staff and their families with an opportunity to explore historical photographs showcasing the architectural grandeur and spiritual significance of the Novodevichy Monastery. This exhibition serves not only as a celebration of the monastery’s rich history but also as a bridge fostering cultural understanding between Pakistan and Russia.
