Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori actively participated in the distribution of ration bags under the ‘Powerful Pakistan’ initiative, meeting with recipients and overseeing the process. The effort is aimed at supporting families in need across the region.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori reviewed the distribution process of the ration bags and interacted with the people who arrived to receive them. The recipients expressed their gratitude to the Governor for this assistance. Governor Tesori mentioned that nearly 200,000 people have received these ration bags, and the distribution will continue with the support of Unity Foods and other philanthropists. The ration bags, which contain enough food for a family for a month, were also distributed during Eid-ul-Adha as part of the initiative to ensure no family’s happiness is marred by lack of food.

Governor Tesori highlighted that the current distribution of ration bags is featured in Geo News’ program “One Day with Geo,” aiming to raise awareness about the support being extended to the less fortunate from the Governor House. This initiative reflects a commitment to assist those in need and to involve various stakeholders in the collective effort to alleviate hunger and provide essential supplies to families across Sindh.
