Islamabad: A meeting of the Pakistan-Nepal-Bhutan Parliamentary Friendship Group took place at the Parliament House in Islamabad to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal. According to Press Information Department, the meeting was chaired by the group’s Convener and Member National Assembly, Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, and attended by various parliamentarians and the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, H.E. Ms. Rita Dhital.

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, advocated for the restoration of direct flights between Pakistan and Nepal to improve air connectivity, which he believes will foster opportunities in trade, tourism, and people-to-people contact. The meeting participants also highlighted the importance of cultural exchange programs and educational scholarships to strengthen ties between the two nations.

H.E. Ms. Rita Dhital expressed that Pakistan and Nepal have longstanding friendly relations and emphasized the potential for expanding cooperation in multiple fields to further develop these connections.
