Bishkek: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek to discuss regional developments and enhance bilateral relations. The meeting focused on key areas such as trade, investment, energy, connectivity, regional security, and people-to-people exchanges.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Kyrgyz foreign minister congratulated Pakistan on its upcoming role as the Chair of the SCO Council of Heads of State for 2026-27. He expressed confidence in Pakistan’s ability to lead and advance the organization’s agenda. Both leaders emphasized their countries’ close and friendly relations and expressed a mutual desire to expand cooperation in areas of common interest.
The discussions also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments. Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination within the SCO and other multilateral platforms to promote peace, stability, and shared prosperity.
