Bishkek: Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have committed to increasing their bilateral trade volume to $200 million, as stated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following a meeting with the Kyrgyz President. The discussions were characterized as productive by the Prime Minister in a message shared on his X handle.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two nations have agreed to enhance connectivity by developing road, rail, and air links. The countries also plan to deepen their collaboration across various sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, information technology, minerals, agriculture, digital technologies, and infrastructure.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Sharif noted that both countries are aiming to strengthen people-to-people ties. This includes fostering exchanges in tourism, sports, education, and culture. The Prime Minister expressed optimism about the future of relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
