Prime Minister Pledges Continued Focus on Development of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed that the development and prosperity of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan remain top priorities for his government, as he emphasized during a meeting with the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the administration’s commitment to advancing the agenda for the regions’ development under the vision and guidance of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. The ongoing and future development initiatives were a key focus of the discussion, with the Prime Minister assuring that all necessary measures would continue to be pursued to ensure public welfare in these areas.



The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Federal Minister to brief the Prime Minister on the current state of affairs in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, including updates on development projects and the outcomes of the recent elections in Azad Kashmir.
