Islamabad: Financial approvals under the Prime Minister’s Apna Ghar Programme have exceeded 313 billion rupees, marking a 117 percent increase in a span of two months. This significant development was announced by Khurram Schehzad, Advisor to the Finance Minister.
According to Radio Pakistan, Schehzad revealed in a post on X that the program has approved over 53,100 housing loans since June this year, reflecting a 111 percent increase. Additionally, more than forty-five billion rupees have been disbursed, registering a 120 percent increase.
Schehzad emphasized that the Prime Minister’s Apna Ghar Programme is gaining momentum by expanding access to affordable housing finance, thereby stimulating activity within Pakistan’s housing and construction sectors.
