Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Attends Independence Day Event at Daanish School Islamabad


Islamabad: Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, attended the Independence Day celebrations at Daanish School Islamabad as the Chief Guest.



According to Press Information Department, the event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem and a flag-hoisting ceremony. Students delivered speeches in both Urdu and English to commemorate August 14, while national songs fostered a spirit of unity and patriotism. The performances by students were appreciated by the audience.



In his address, Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan highlighted the importance of the youth as a key asset for Pakistan. He stressed the need for their education, training, and character building to ensure the country’s progress. He also emphasized the vision behind the Daanish Schools initiative, aimed at providing quality education to underprivileged children, reaffirming the commitment to equal educational opportunities nationwide.



Mr. Khan further stated that talented students would receive comprehensive training to equip them with the necessary skills and character for contributing to Pakistan’s development. The ceremony concluded with a prayer for the country’s security and prosperity, and participants pledged to contribute to building a strong and peaceful nation.



Principal of Daanish School Islamabad, Mr. Muhammad Asghar Malik, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, presenting him with an honorary shield as a token of appreciation.
