Caretaker Prime Minister Advocates Educating Youth on Islamic History and Culture to Counter Islamophobia

Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the importance of educating the youth about Islamic history and culture to combat Islamophobia. In a meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Professor Dr. Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, the Prime Minister discussed the creation and broadcasting of documentaries in different languages to spread the true essence of Islam worldwide.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Kakar condemned the oppression of Palestinians in Gaza and the killing of children, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of relief routes for aid. He also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Highlighting the strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s support in difficult times and appreciated the cooperation in the progress of education and health sectors in Pakistan. He commended the care provided to the Pakistani workforce in the Kingdom.

Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid praised the Pakistani workforce’s contribution to Saudi Arabia’s development and prosperity and reiterated the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two nations. He stressed the importance of Islamic education for the new generation and expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s hospitality.
