Lahore, September 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited the court of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh tonight and reviewed the arrangements for Urs. was briefed about the arrangements related to Sabil. The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to further improve the arrangements and provide facilities to the devotees. Mohsin Naqvi checked the quality of food by eating biryani in the anchorage. Mohsin Naqvi instructed to conduct the Mahfil Sama in the premises of the court and said that the Mahfil Sama should be organized in a wide area to ensure the participation of maximum number of devotees. And Ziraala appreciated the performance of the administrator on the cleaning arrangements in the washrooms.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a detailed visit to the assembly hall, mosque and other parts of the court and gave necessary instructions to ensure the best arrangements for the Urs. It was said that cleanliness should be improved and more wings should be arranged for the devotees. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi attended the court of Hazrat Dataganj Baksh and prayed for the development, prosperity and peace and stability of the nation. Talking to the media at the Data Darbar premises, Naqvi said that they want to improve the arrangements of Urs compared to the previous years. Arrangements will be made to feed the devotees conveniently in the anchorage. Ratios will be better. On September 7, there will be a local holiday in connection with Urs.
All the famous qawwals will participate in Mahfil Sama. At the same time, arrangements for Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh’s Urs, Hazrat Imam Hussain’s Chehlam and cricket match are challenging. The police and administration will ensure the best security arrangements with mutual cooperation. Rangers are also performing duty for the security of the cricket match. Devotees coming from outside in Urs Best arrangements will be made for patients. After 12 years, parking has been restored in Data Sahib’s basement. A comprehensive traffic plan is being issued for the convenience of pilgrims during Urs. Data Darbar will be further expanded. Adding space at the back and sides of the mosque will increase the capacity for devotees. The expansion work will be started as soon as the land is acquired for the expansion of the Data Darbar. Commissioner Lahore Division, CCPO, Deputy Commissioner and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
