Ayaz Sadiq Highlights Effectiveness of Speakers’ Conference for Parliamentary Cooperation


ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held in Islamabad, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the importance of the Speakers’ Conference as a means to enhance parliamentary cooperation. The discussions involved Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati and Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Imran Nadeem, who met separately with Sadiq to deliberate on various parliamentary matters.



According to Radio Pakistan, the assembly speakers engaged in detailed discussions about parliamentary affairs, legislation, and mutual interests. They concurred on the need to strengthen connections and foster cooperation among the federal, provincial, and other legislative institutions.



Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that the Speakers’ Conference serves as an effective platform for broadening parliamentary collaboration. The provincial assembly speakers acknowledged Sadiq’s role in promoting cooperation and reinforcing ties among legislative bodies.
