Islamabad, The National Weather Forecasting Center Islamabad has issued the latest weather forecast for Pakistan. A trough of the westerly wave is currently affecting the southern and upper parts of the country and is expected to persist until Monday. The forecast predicts cold and cloudy weather in most regions, with rain-wind/thunderstorm likely in southeastern Sindh on Sunday.
According to National Weather Forecasting Center, Monday will also see cold and cloudy conditions in most upper parts of the country, with smog/fog likely in some plain areas of Punjab during morning hours. The past 24 hours have seen mainly partly cloudy weather in most parts and cold conditions in the upper regions, with rainfall occurring in parts of Balochistan and Sindh. The lowest recorded temperatures today were in Leh, Skardu, Kalam, Hunza, and Gupis.
