Islamabad, Secretary of Railways, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, has asserted that the Main Line-I (ML-I) project will be a transformative force for Pakistan’s transportation sector and is expected to significantly increase the revenue of Pakistan Railways. Speaking to a high-level delegation of technical experts from the National Railway Administration of China, Shah emphasized the project’s pivotal role in enhancing Pakistan’s social and economic development.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ML-I project is viewed as a game changer, with immense potential to modernize and expand Pakistan’s railway infrastructure, thereby boosting connectivity and economic growth.
