Punjab Police Promotes Eight Officers to Sub-Inspector Rank


Lahore: In a move to ensure regular departmental advancements, the Punjab Police has promoted eight Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub-Inspector. The decision, directed by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, was carried out without any interruptions, underscoring the department’s commitment to maintaining a smooth promotion process.



According to Punjab Police, the promotions were finalized during a Promotion Board meeting chaired by DIG PHP, Faisal Ali Raja. The officers promoted include Rashid Minhas, Imran Khan, Muhammad Naveed Shakoor, Muhammad Yousaf, Nadeem Pervaiz, Muhammad Imran, Abdul Shakoor, and Saleem Shad. These individuals were recognized for meeting the necessary merit and rules. A notification confirming their promotions was issued by DIG PHP.



IG Punjab Abdul Kareem extended his congratulations to the newly promoted officers, advising them to approach their duties with increased diligence, honesty, and dedication. He emphasized that timely departmental promotions are a right of all officers and officials, aiming to enhance the overall efficiency and performance of the police force.
