Pakistan and Kazakhstan to Enhance Cooperation in Political and Economic Sectors


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to expand their cooperation in political, parliamentary, trade, and regional connectivity sectors. This decision emerged from a meeting between Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, and Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate, held in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman Gilani welcomed Ambassador Kistafin and acknowledged his efforts in strengthening the ties between the two nations. He reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining its longstanding relationship with Kazakhstan, emphasizing the mutual respect and shared vision both countries hold for regional peace and prosperity.



Ambassador Kistafin, in response, recognized Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and connectivity. He expressed Kazakhstan’s interest in broadening cooperation with Pakistan across several sectors, highlighting the potential for increased collaboration.
