Jammu, At least seven ‘Baratis’ (wedding guests) were injured after a vehicle, they were on board, fell into a river in the Mandi area of Poonch district in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the vehicle fell into a river at Saujiyan Higher Secondary School, resulting in injuries to seven onboard people.
The injured persons have been identified as Mohammad Lateef, 52, Mohammad Azeem, 42, Mohammad Afzal, daughter of Mohammad Din; Mohammad Qayoom, 25, daughter of Mohammad Afzal; Gul Khan, 52,; Mohammad Ayoub,47 and Sajjad Ahmed, 22) – all residents of Brari Saujiyan.
The injured persons have been shifted to Sub Divisional Hospital, Mandi, for immediate medical attention.
