Lahore, In a notable political development, two newly elected independent members of the Punjab Provincial Assembly have joined the ranks of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) [PML-N]. Ahsan Raza from PP 180 and Ghazanfar Qureshi from PP 128 announced their decision during a meeting with PML-N’s Chief Organizer, Maryam Nawaz, in Lahore today.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Maryam Nawaz extended a warm welcome to the independent legislators, appreciating their confidence in the party. This move is seen as a strategic gain for PML-N, bolstering its position in the Punjab Provincial Assembly.
