Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri Discusses Law and Order Initiatives with Caretaker Interior Minister


Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri met with the caretaker provincial interior minister and Brigadier (retd) Harith Nawaz at the Governor House to discuss law and order initiatives, strategies to combat street crime in Karachi, and the installation of CCTV cameras.



According to Press Secretary to Governor Sindh, the meeting focused on enhancing safety and security in the province. Governor Tesuri emphasized the importance of protecting the lives and property of citizens and highlighted the need for an effective strategy to eliminate street crime in Karachi, also known as Shahr Quaid. He suggested that controlling street crime would require increased police patrolling and the strategic installation of CCTV cameras, especially in high-crime areas.



The caretaker provincial interior minister provided a comprehensive briefing on the measures currently being taken to maintain law and order in the province. The discussion underscored the commitment of the Sindh government to improving security and public safety, a priority for the province’s administration.



Governor Tesuri’s meeting with the interior minister and Brigadier Nawaz reflects the ongoing efforts to address security challenges in Sindh, particularly in its largest city, Karachi.
