Karachi, In a solemn visit to the residence of the late Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri paid tribute to the officer’s bravery and sacrifice for Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of external threats to the nation. The governor met with the fallen soldier’s father, Roshan Zameer, and brother, Tabish Ali, to express his condolences and respect for the lieutenant colonel’s ultimate sacrifice.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri highlighted the significance of Lt. Col. Syed Kashif Ali’s actions in defense of the country, stating that his sacrifice would be remembered in golden letters. He remarked on the critical role that martyrs play in the security and permanence of Pakistan, describing them as beacons for the nation. The governor also recited Fatiha, a prayer for the deceased, to honor the martyr’s memory and prayed for his elevated status in the afterlife.
In his comments to the media, Governor Tesuri expressed empathy for the family’s loss, recognizing the mixed emotions of sorrow and pride that come with the martyrdom of a loved one. He underscored the irreplaceable value of lives lost in the service of Pakistan’s armed forces and called for political unity in the face of threats to national security. Governor Tesuri specifically accused India of fostering terrorism with the aim of destabilizing Pakistan economically and stressed the importance of national cohesion to counter these challenges. He further mentioned the potential of the Army Chief’s Financial Investment Facilitation Center (FIFC) to bolster Pakistan’s economic resilience.
The governor’s visit, alongside the presence of Member National Assembly Farhan Chishti, serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel and the need for collective action among politicians and stakeholders to safeguard the country’s future.
