According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Gilani emphasized the challenges of child labor that persist globally, particularly in less developed nations driven by poverty and inequality. He stressed the severe implications of child labor on children’s education and development, urging a robust societal and governmental response to provide viable alternatives for families in need.
Throughout his message, Gilani recognized the contributions of various stakeholders and encouraged public involvement in combatting child exploitation. He underscored the need for governmental and non-governmental collaboration to ensure every child’s right to a safe and educational upbringing, envisioning a future where children are nurtured in classrooms rather than workplaces.
