Rawalpindi, Pakistan’s security forces conducted a series of successful intelligence-based operations against terrorism. In Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District, an operation resulted in an intense exchange of fire and the elimination of two terrorists. A separate operation in Kot Azam, South Waziristan District, led to the neutralization of another terrorist.
According to Inter Services Public Relations reported that weapons and ammunition were recovered from all three killed terrorists, who were actively involved in various terrorist activities against security forces and civilians. In a separate incident in Gharyoum, North Waziristan District, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion led to the martyrdom of Sepoy Shahzeb, a 26-year-old soldier from Rawalpindi.
Sanitization operations are ongoing in the areas to eliminate any remaining terrorists. These operations and the sacrifices of brave soldiers like Sepoy Shahzeb further strengthen the resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to eradicate terrorism.
