Jeddah: The second phase of Pakistan’s government-sponsored Hajj flight operation has begun, with over two thousand pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia via seven flights from various cities under the Route to Makkah project.
According to Radio Pakistan, correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reported from Jeddah Airport that the operation was underway, facilitating the arrival of pilgrims who are participating in the annual pilgrimage. The initiative is part of Pakistan’s efforts to streamline the travel process for its citizens making the religious journey to Makkah.
The Route to Makkah project aims to simplify immigration procedures for pilgrims, allowing them to complete the process at their departure airports in Pakistan. This initiative is part of broader efforts to improve the efficiency and convenience of the Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims.
