Iran Credits Pakistan and Qatar for Facilitating Peace in Lebanon

TEHRAN: Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, announced that mediation efforts by Pakistan and Qatar have been pivotal in advancing the resolution of the conflict in Lebanon. His remarks highlighted the significant diplomatic contributions made by these nations in fostering peace in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Araghchi shared on his X handle that the mediation has resulted in several key developments. These include the waiver of oil and petrochemical export restrictions, the lifting of blockades, the release of certain frozen assets, and the initiation of a comprehensive reconstruction and development plan for Iran. These measures are seen as critical steps towards stabilizing the situation and promoting economic recovery in the region.
