Islamabad Police Arrest Eight, Seize Drugs and Weapons


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested eight individuals accused of engaging in criminal activities, recovering a significant quantity of drugs and weapons in the process. According to Islamabad Capital Police, law enforcement officials seized 2015 grams of hashish, 901 grams of heroin, 236 grams of ice, 20 bottles of liquor, a dagger, and a pistol with ammunition from the suspects.



The arrests and seizures are part of an ongoing crackdown on crime led by the police, under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Cases have been registered against the accused, and investigations are continuing as authorities aim to maintain peace in the federal capital.



SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza affirmed the police’s commitment to safeguarding residents and emphasized that no criminal activities would be tolerated. Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activities to police stations or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” to assist in crime reduction efforts.
