Punjab Chief Minister Discusses Development Projects with Attock Assembly Members


LAHORE: Members of the Provincial Assembly from Attock district met with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to discuss public needs and development projects. According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting included discussions about the success of the electrobus service in Attock, which the assembly members praised as a significant development. The electrobuses are currently running from POF Sanjwal to Hazro and from Government College of Technology Dhok Fateh to Attock Khurd, with positive feedback from the public.



The assembly members highlighted the benefits of the electrobus service, which offers free travel for women, students, and senior citizens. They also commended the Model Village Project, which is aimed at upgrading villages, describing it as a project that could serve as a model for other provinces. Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized the importance of clean drinking water, stating that it is a priority following the Suthra Punjab Programme. Additionally, she reiterated the accomplishments of the Pakistan Muslim League-N in making Pakistan a nuclear power and developing infrastructure. The Punjab Development Programme, which includes major projects related to drainage, sewerage systems, and roads, was also discussed as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the province’s infrastructure.
