Islamabad, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan, led a critical discussion on addressing Pakistan’s education emergency with key educational and industry experts. The meeting, aimed at overhauling the education system, included former Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin and CEO of ICMA Digital, Mr. Nadeem Mujtaba.
According to Press Information Department, the discussions focused on innovative curriculum development and the integration of technical training in higher education. Dr. Nizamuddin highlighted the need for curriculum reforms to align educational outcomes with job market requirements, while Mr. Mujtaba emphasized the importance of industry-academic collaboration to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
Chairman Khan reiterated the urgency of the declared education emergency and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme’s commitment to enhancing the quality and accessibility of education across Pakistan. The meeting concluded with a resolution to continue collaborative efforts to develop actionable strategies for immediate implementation to improve the education landscape in Pakistan.
