Islamabad, In a significant political event, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, administered the oath of office to newly elected government ministers Ms. Kausar Taqdees Gilani and Ms. Imtiaz Naseem. The ceremony took place at the President’s office in Kashmir House, Islamabad, marking a pivotal moment in the region’s governance.
According to the Press Secretary to the Governor of Sindh, the oath-taking ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of the Independent State of Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar Haq, Senior Most Minister Colonel (retd) Waqar Ahmad Noor, and other government ministers such as Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq and Abdul Majid Khan. Presidential Adviser Sardar Imtiaz Khan, Prime Minister Adviser Ahmad Sagheer, Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir Dawood Muhammad Barich, along with government secretaries, senior officials, political and social figures, senior media persons, and representatives of various schools of thought, were present at the event.
The ceremony was organized by Secretary Presidential Affairs Shahid Ayub, following the official announcement of the ministerial appointments by Secretary Services and General Administration Zafar Mehmood Khan.
