Islamabad, The coordination committees of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are set to hold their third round of discussions today in Islamabad, aiming to finalize their strategy for government formation. This follows the conclusion of their second round of talks, which focused on progressing toward a consensus on the structure and leadership of the potential government coalition.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the committees, which include prominent members such as Senator Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, and Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan from PML-N, and Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Sardar Bahadur Khan Sehar, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Shazi Khan from PPP, decided to undertake a third consultation session. The goal of this meeting is to finalize recommendations after seeking input from their respective political leaderships.
The dialogue represents a critical step toward establishing a cooperative framework between two of Pakistan’s major political forces. As these discussions unfold, the focus remains on crafting a comprehensive and unified approach to governance, reflecting the shared objectives and policy priorities of both parties.
