Kabul: The Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul marked the country’s 79th Independence Anniversary with a flag hoisting ceremony. Ambassador Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani led the event by raising the Pakistani flag and delivering remarks that echoed messages from the nation’s top leadership.
According to Press Information Department, the Ambassador highlighted the steadfast vision set forth by Pakistan’s leaders and paid tribute to the founding forefathers’ struggle for an independent homeland. He emphasized the resilience demonstrated by the country’s security forces against various threats and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering global peace and regional cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by Pakistanis affiliated with UN agencies, international organizations, as well as professionals and students residing in Afghanistan.
