Islamabad, The Directorate of Legal Education Pakistan (DLE) and the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to improve legal education concerning competition laws, aiming to boost capacity within the legal community and enhance market regulation.
According to Press Information Department, the MoU signing, attended by key figures including Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazir Tarar, and Chairman CCP, Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu, marks a collaborative effort to raise awareness among law students and legal professionals through various educational initiatives. These include integrating competition law modules into LL.B and LL.M programs, conducting workshops, and promoting ongoing legal education. This partnership is seen as a strategic move to equip lawyers with the necessary skills to handle complex competition issues effectively, thereby contributing to the economic stability of the country.
