US Ambassador Discusses Legal Reforms and Economic Growth with Pakistan’s Law Minister


Islamabad, In a significant meeting, US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, conferred with Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and discussing key legal reforms underway in Pakistan aimed at economic growth.



According to Press Information Department, the discussions emphasized the ongoing legal reforms including the implementation of an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system and the automation of legal processes. These reforms are part of broader efforts by the Ministry of Law and Justice to improve the tax base and facilitate ease of doing business in Pakistan. Both parties reiterated their commitment to strengthening US-Pakistan relations through continued collaboration in various sectors.
